Origin of AA&S (Australia)

The F-111 "mascot" below remains as a reminder of the "Ageing Aircraft" program which helped sustain this ageing but outstanding aircraft. This program was characterised by its long term vision and a team which was constantly "looking beneath the surface".

The spirit of that now scattered program team lives on in the values espoused by AA&S (Australia); values in common with the US AA&S community with whom we have long been associated, and who willingly allowed us to share their AA&S name in reflection of this ongoing collaborative bond.

Through the Conference and its associated activities, AA&S (Australia) strives to promote sound Aerospace Leadership, that vital attribute which ensures that the technical expertise within our teams, what they do best, is indeed delivered to achieve the best results for our fleets, and ultimately the greater aerospace community.
